By registering, uploading videos, voting, judging, participating in a contest, or using the no-signup Community Support experience hosted through Vote My Clip, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Eligibility
- Participation is open only to individuals aged 18 years or above.
- Participants must provide accurate registration details.
- Government-issued ID may be requested for age, identity, or prize verification.
- Only one account per participant is permitted unless contest rules state otherwise.
- Employees, organizers, judges, and their immediate family members are not eligible unless expressly permitted.
- Providing false information may result in disqualification.
2. Contest Period
Each contest will have a published start and end date. Entries received outside the contest period will not be accepted.
3. Video Submission
- Videos must be original or uploaded with all required permissions.
- Content violating copyright, law, privacy, or community standards may be rejected.
- Participants grant Vote My Clip and the Organizer a non-exclusive licence to display and promote submitted entries for contest-related purposes.
4. Content Approval Policy
Every submission is reviewed before publication. Rejected or pending videos are not eligible to receive votes, be judged, or appear in rankings.
5. Voting Policy
- Official voting is available only to an eligible, verified Public Voter account during the contest's Voting phase through the Watch & vote action.
- Only valid votes complying with contest rules will be counted.
- Fake accounts, bots, automated tools, click farms, VPN abuse, or any fraudulent voting methods are prohibited.
- Vote My Clip may remove suspicious votes without prior notice.
6. Community Support and No-Signup Playback
- Visitors may use Watch & support without creating an account only for an approved video whose Participant has accepted the specific public Community playback consent.
- Community playback and new Supports are available only while an approved, non-archived contest is in its Live, Voting, or Judging phase. They close when the contest becomes Completed or is archived.
- The Community Support total is displayed separately from Official votes. When the contest is Completed, the total stops accepting new reactions and may remain publicly visible as a frozen engagement total.
- Community Supports are never included in Official votes, Judge scores, final scores, rankings, tie decisions, prizes, certificates, winner selection, or finalized results.
- One Support is permitted per eligible video and protected browser identifier. Vote My Clip may use a protected browser cookie, one-way browser and network-day identifiers, limited playback audit identifiers, rate limits, and other reasonable security controls to prevent duplicate or abusive activity.
- Community Support does not verify a visitor's identity and must not be treated as fraud-proof. Clearing or changing browser data may reset the browser's remembered Supported state, although server-side aggregate records and abuse controls may remain.
- Bots, scripts, automated reactions, click farms, coordinated manipulation, cookie or identifier tampering, rate-limit evasion, and other attempts to inflate Community Support totals are prohibited. Vote My Clip may block or remove suspicious activity.
- No-signup playback grants only a limited right to watch the eligible video through the platform. It does not grant permission to download, copy, reproduce, redistribute, alter, or commercially use the video.
7. Judging & Final Ranking
Displayed rankings may be provisional until verification is complete. Vote My Clip and the Organizer may validate votes, participant eligibility, originality, and compliance before declaring winners. Their decision regarding ranking, eligibility, and winners shall be final and binding.
8. Winner Verification
Winning is subject to successful identity verification, age verification, ownership verification of the submitted video, and validation of votes.
9. Fraud & Disqualification
- Any attempt to manipulate contest results may result in immediate disqualification.
- Vote My Clip may suspend accounts, remove videos, or cancel prizes obtained unfairly.
10. Intellectual Property
Participants retain ownership of their original work while granting Vote My Clip and the Organizer permission to use submitted content for contest administration and promotion.
11. AI & Edited Content
AI-generated or heavily manipulated content may be accepted or rejected according to the specific Contest Rules.
12. Prize Distribution
Prize winners may be required to submit valid Government-issued identification and any additional documents requested by the Contest Organizer or Vote My Clip for identity, age, and eligibility verification. Failure to complete the verification process within the specified time may result in forfeiture of the prize, and the Organizer reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
13. No Refund / Cancellation Policy
Vote My Clip provides digital services including contest registrations, video submissions, voting services, promotional features, and other online services. By making any payment through the platform, the participant acknowledges and agrees to this No Refund / Cancellation Policy.
- All payments made through Vote My Clip are final, non-cancellable, and non-refundable, except where expressly required under applicable law.
- Contest registration fees, nomination fees, voting packages, promotional services, featured listings, subscriptions, and other digital services are non-refundable once the payment has been successfully processed.
- Participants are advised to carefully review all contest details, eligibility requirements, payment amounts, and other relevant information before completing the transaction.
- No refund shall be provided if a participant voluntarily withdraws from a contest after successful registration.
- No refund shall be provided if a submitted video is rejected, removed, or disqualified due to violation of these Terms & Conditions, Contest Rules, copyright infringement, inappropriate content, fraudulent activity, or any other policy violation.
- No refund shall be provided for votes already cast, unused voting packages, accidental purchases, duplicate voting, or dissatisfaction with contest results, rankings, judging decisions, or prize distribution.
- Promotional services or advertising packages purchased through the platform are deemed consumed once activated and are therefore non-refundable.
- If a payment fails but the amount is debited from the user's bank account, the refund process shall be governed by the respective bank or payment gateway. Users should first wait for the standard banking settlement period before contacting support.
- In case of a verified duplicate payment caused solely by a technical error, Vote My Clip may, at its sole discretion, process an appropriate refund or adjustment after verification.
- If any contest is postponed, modified, suspended, or cancelled due to legal requirements, technical issues, fraud prevention, force majeure, government directives, or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Vote My Clip or the Contest Organizer, no refund shall automatically become payable unless otherwise required by law or specifically announced by the Organizer.
- Payment gateway charges, convenience fees, taxes, and other third-party processing charges, if applicable, are non-refundable.
- Any fraudulent chargeback, payment dispute, or attempt to obtain an unauthorized refund after using the platform's services may result in suspension of the user's account, cancellation of contest participation, forfeiture of prizes, and legal action where applicable.
By completing a payment on Vote My Clip, the user confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted this No Refund / Cancellation Policy and acknowledge that digital services may commence immediately after successful payment.
14. Privacy
Personal information will be collected, stored, processed, and used in accordance with applicable laws of India and the Vote My Clip Privacy Policy. By using the platform, users consent to the collection and processing of their information for contest administration and related services.
15. Limitation of Liability
Vote My Clip and the Contest Organizer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from participation in the contest, including but not limited to technical failures, internet interruptions, server downtime, payment gateway failures, third-party service interruptions, or circumstances beyond their reasonable control.
16. Modification or Cancellation
Vote My Clip and the Contest Organizer reserve the right to modify, suspend, extend, postpone, or cancel any contest, these Terms & Conditions, or any contest-related rules at any time without prior notice whenever required for legal, operational, security, fraud prevention, or technical reasons.
17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts as determined by the Contest Organizer.
